It happens. Ezekiel 1:3 Ezekiel 3:4,11, 14. (KJV)
The call, the assignment, and the response come at a time of seeking clarity. Ezekiel gets the call, Ezekiel 1:3; already titled. Amid a whirlwind of chaos, Ezekiel 1 continues to consume the priest/prophet as all this clanging and clacking going on glory is falling and the atmosphere is full of God's presence.
Ezekiel 2 Get up and receive the orders now that my spirit has consumed you and you couldn't even stand up under the weight of power that is present to strengthen you for the journey. (1 and 2 hence the power of an ordination)
Ezekiel 3:4 instructions given again, (after the ingestion of the whole roll) yea I know go anyway, they will be hardened against you, unlike those that will truly admire you and adore you,
Ezekiel 3:11 again whether they receive you or not.
Ezekiel 3:14 I know I disrupted your whole world, to send you to people who don't want you as a messenger to deliver what I said which in turn causes them to reject you which is really the me in you says, God. But you are strong enough to do it so get up and go with my blessings. I know you are aggravated, vexed and "BigMad" right now, but you will do it anyway. And to make sure you give me no mouth about it I'm gonna rest my heavy hand upon you even as I'm lifting you to go do it.
Yeah, same thing I said. Read the text.
Ezekiel 3:14 So the spirit lifted me up, and took me away, and I went in bitterness, in the heat of my spirit; but the hand of the Lord was strong upon me.
PRESSURE
God you win.
