The Art of Rain

The art of rain is often the anticipated rainbow that is visible as a promise from God that He will never flood the entire earth again. When was the last time you stopped and appreciated the moment of rain? The change in the temperature and atmosphere, the steam on the roads on a hot day, the dew that rests on the grass in the mornings, the way the drops form small round circles and not just big ovals, the fact that there are puddles to actually form clear visible gatherings of the droplets allowing the perfect opportunity to jump and cause a splash, the way they run down the glass of a window, the peace that you can audibly hear even in the putter patter, the unplanned intensity that can happen when all of sudden there are a few drops on the windshield? I've never really thought about the moment that may be manifesting on the earth as God's tears, I normally will jovially say one of the angels left the water on too long and we are getting the overflow from the garden, but in hindsight, what if God was crying, because we continue to disappoint him? There's no color to the raindrop, sometimes their heavy storms and sometimes their light, but when was the last time we paused and said God I appreciate in my life, please help me to live right and let my actions and my words be pleasing to you.? I don't know, it would break my heart to know that what I am doing made God cry, He's already been through enough sacrificing His only begotten son so that we could live. We are His, He is ours, but do we take time to appreciate the art of rain? Pass me a tissue, I would be honored to wipe away God's tears... instead, take time be obedient enough to put a smile on His face.
In remembrance of the lives that were taken from us during unanticipated storms, may God comfort the hearts of those that are still asking how, why and show them the love of God in the earth as a comforter to broken hearts, even in unforseen circumstances 💕 in Jesus name. Amen
